A Street Part held to celebrate Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee was organised by Beaufront and Anick Women's Institute, in Fairfield Crescent Oakwood on Saturday 1st June 2002. The Reverend Roger Cutler, Priest-in-charge of St John Lee and Warden with Newbrough officially openened proceedings at 2.00 pm.
