Applications
A. Ref 2000825
Campact Ltd, Anick Road, Hexham
Hazardous substance consent, use and storage of Methanol Formaldehyde at the above location.
Sandhoe Parish Council, at the present moment, object to this application until a full risk assessment is carried out, and the views of the Egger liaison working group are known on this.
We would like to suggest that the application is delayed and the company make a presentation to this council jointly with Hexham Town Council and Corbridge Parish Council so we all know what is involved.
B. Ref 2000804
Egger UK Ltd, Anick Road, Hexham
Construction of re-cycling process building at above location.
Sandhoe Parish Council is concerned as to what type of re-cycling will take place in this building and have all the facts and information been sought as we are concerned as to what is to be re-cycled in this building.
Perhaps in conjunction with Campact a presentation could be made to the Local Parish/Town Council.
C. Ref 2000916
Maiden House, Bridge End Industrial Estate, Hexham.
External alterations to existing building to form office accommodation.
No objections.
D. Ref 2000820
12 Oakwood, Oakwood, Hexham
Change of use of post office to dwelling.
Loss of another community facility i.e. the local post office. (But the post office has been closed for sometim so this is a retrospective application) The council deeply regrets the loss of the local service but unless someone is prepared to take the business on elsewhere in the Parish it is a difficult situation.
